With the famous Plywood Group, Charles & Ray Eames created true icons of modernism in the mid-1940s. This LCM (Lounge Chair Metal) also combines softly contoured elements made of oak-veneered plywood with a delicate metal construction to create an iconic silhouette. The three-dimensionally curved surfaces adapt to the natural posture of the body and make sitting noticeably comfortable. The slim, polished chrome frame skilfully showcases the structure of the warm wood and gives the chair its distinctive character. This original Vitra version from the 2010 production sets a confident statement both in private living spaces and in representative lounge areas.

Condition: Overall, the chairs are in very good used condition. The moulded plywood seat and back surfaces are clean and well maintained, showing only occasional, minor signs of use such as fine scratches or minimal pressure marks.

The chrome-plated steel frames are stable and well maintained. There may occasionally be slight age-related signs of use on the chrome, but without any significant impact on the appearance or function. All plastic glides are present.
