Large Danish Mid-Century chest of drawers in teak from the 1960s. The exceptionally long, low silhouette and clean design are exemplary of the pared-back Scandinavian furniture design of this period. The front is divided into nine spacious drawers. The absence of visible handles creates a particularly calm appearance and allows the warm, lively grain of the teak to take centre stage. Dark shadow gaps between the drawers further emphasise the straight-lined, horizontal design. The chest rests on a simple, slightly recessed plinth that underscores the functional character of the design. With its nine drawers, it offers ample storage space and is ideal as a sideboard in the living or dining area, or as a generous chest of drawers in the bedroom. A timeless and expressive piece of furniture. Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related signs of use. Minor scratches, abrasion and occasional knocks are present. There is a more noticeable chip on a rear upper edge. Dimensions: L183 x W45 x H 67
