Architecturally designed clamp light from the 1970s, designed by Franco Mirenzi and Vittorio Parigi for the Italian manufacturer Valenti Luce. The lamp impresses with its clear, functional design language and is exemplary of the technically influenced design approach of that era. Characteristic is the slender, black lacquered metal arm with multiple adjustable joints, enabling precise alignment of the light. The conically shaped white shade ensures an even, warm distribution of light and creates a striking contrast to the dark structure. The distinctive, ribbed joints reinforce the industrial character and recall constructive solutions from mechanical engineering. The stable clamping base allows flexible mounting on tabletops or shelves and makes the lamp especially versatile—ideal as a work, reading or studio lamp. The high-quality workmanship and the well thought-out joint system reflect Valenti Luce’s design quality from the 1970s. An authentic piece of Italian design with clear functional aesthetics and excellent everyday suitability. Condition: Good used condition with age-related signs of wear. Minor scratches and patina on metal parts as well as minimal discoloration at the edge of the shade. Technically fully functional. Dimensions: L26.5 x W20 x H106 cm
