This characterful bistro chair from Kelko is exemplary of the functional yet striking design of the 1960s to 1970s. The filigree, chrome-plated steel tube frame is clearly constructed and slightly flared, creating a stable but visually light appearance. The seat and backrest shell made of moulded laminated wood is upholstered in red faux leather, and with its rich colouring provides a lively contrast to the cool metal structure. The lightly inclined backrest and the compact seat ensure comfortable seating in everyday life. Typical of Kelko is the combination of industrial manufacturing and practical robustness, as you know it from schools, canteens or bistros of this era. At the same time, the clear lines make the chair today a versatile vintage piece—whether as a dining room chair, in a studio, or as a colour accent in modern interiors.

Condition: Used, in good condition with age-related signs of wear. The faux leather shows a beautiful patina with visible scratches and slight signs of wear. The chrome frame has minor signs of use, but it is stable and fully functional.
