Classic Charles armchair by Jan Kurtz . The chair combines the traditional shape of a café chair with a reduced, timeless design and high-quality materials.

The wide, curved backrest and armrests are particularly characteristic, extending in an almost semicircular shape around the seat. Four slim horizontal crossbars structure the back area and give the chair its distinctive, lightweight appearance.

The frame is made of beechwood with a visible wood grain. The slim, slightly splayed legs and the curved wooden struts beneath the seat emphasise the handcrafted-looking construction. The dark brown, upholstered leather seat creates a pleasing contrast with the light wood. These material details also correspond to the manufacturer’s specifications for the Charles.

Condition:

Good used condition with signs of wear related to age and use. The wood shows occasional minor scratches, pressure marks and discolouration. Overall, the dark seat is well maintained.
