This characterful glass bottle comes from Italian serial production from the 1960s to the 1970s and was originally used as a classic wine bottle for simple table wine. The embossed label “Vino d’Italia” highlights its authentic origin and gives the object today a special, almost nostalgic charm. The elegant, drop-shaped silhouette with a softly tapering neck clearly stands out from conventional bottle shapes and shows the design ambition that was even considered in everyday production of the time. The slightly green glass is created by natural iron content and develops, in the light, a calm yet lively depth effect. Today, the piece convinces less through rarity and more through its timeless shape and decorative presence.
