Ikora vase made of mouth-blown glass by Karl Wiedmann for WMF, 1930s Price: CHF 193,- Expressive Ikora vase by Karl Wiedmann for WMF from the 1930s with a characteristic organic design and intricately worked glass. The softly curved silhouette with an flared neck and a rounded body gives the vase an elegant effect. Particularly striking is the lively Ikora structure with finely branching white inclusions as well as cloud-like colour gradations in rosé, ruby and Bordeaux tones. The mouth-blown glass creates an extraordinary depth effect with shifting reflections, which show differently depending on the angle of the light. The combination of expressionistic colour styling and craftsmanship precision makes this vase an impressive example of German glass design from the Art Deco era.
