Decorative Italian opal glass vase from the Opalina Fiorentina manufactory, with a vividly cobalt-blue glass body and contrasting white handles. The soft, rounded shape with a narrow neck is inspired by classic amphora forms and connects traditional Murano glass craftsmanship with the expressive colour styling of Italian design objects from the 1950s and 1960s. Particularly characteristic are the freely applied, curved handles made of white glass, giving the vase an almost sculptural effect. The deep-blue opal glass produces, depending on the angle of light, an intense, almost glowing colour effect and harmonises beautifully with Mid-Century, Space-Age, or Mediterranean interiors. Thanks to its compact yet distinctive form, the piece can be used both as a flower vase and as a standalone glass object. The original Opalina Fiorentina label is still present and underlines its Italian origin and authenticity.

Condition: Good vintage condition with age-appropriate signs of use. Small irregularities and fine traces in the glass, as well as slight signs of ageing on the label. No chips or cracks.
