Iconic Frisbi 850 hanging lamp, designed by Achille Castiglioni in the 1970s for the Italian lighting manufacturer Flos. The characteristic feature is the hovering, flat disc made of opaque plastic, which reflects the light downwards without glare, combined with the chrome-plated half-spherical reflector and the black suspension. The construction with fine tensioning cables underlines the technical, almost weightless expression – a typical example of Castiglioni’s functional yet playful design approach. An international design classic with a high level of recognisability.

Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related signs of wear. Light marks on plastic and metal, overall well cared for and fully functional.
