Expressive, free-formed glass vase from the Maltese studio glass production of Mdina or Mtarfa Glassblowers. The organically shaped body with a spherical base flows seamlessly into a raised, asymmetrical opening and, in its silhouette, recalls floral or maritime forms. The deep blue glass with finely gradated, lighter inclusions creates a lively sense of depth and is typical of Malta’s craft-driven glass production in the second half of the 20th century. Each piece is unique and defined by deliberately irregular lines, air bubbles, and color gradients. The signature and label present underscore the origin from the Mdina/Mtarfa workshop.

Condition: Very good vintage condition with light signs of use and occasional production-related inclusions in the glass.
