Slim, elegant studio glass vase from Swiss production by Sarner Glas, made using the characteristic Efeso technique — an elaborate glass finishing with roots in the Murano tradition and developed in collaboration with Italian glassmakers. The pulled-up, cylindrical form particularly impressively highlights the depth and movement of the material. Fine, vertically running inclusions in shades of blue, grey and white run through the glass body and create an almost organic surface reminiscent of mineral structures. Trapped air bubbles and particles with a metallic look give the vase additional depth and a lively light effect. The massive, clear glass base provides stability and underlines the high-quality workmanship, while the overall noticeable weight emphasizes the quality of this hand-blown object. In its reduced form, the vase appears especially modern and can be staged both as a stand-alone piece and in combination with other studio glass objects. A contemporary collector’s piece with a clear connection to Murano aesthetics and a distinct character.

Condition: Very good condition with no signs of use whatsoever. No chips or cracks.
