Joint lamp by Jean-Louis Domecq for Jieldé, France 1950s/60s Iconic French industrial joint lamp, designed by Jean-Louis Domecq and made by Jieldé. This model is exemplary of functional industrial design from the post-war period and was originally developed for workshops, where maximum flexibility and robustness were required. The distinctive construction with ball-bearing joints allows precise light positioning, while the semi-spherical reflector with a surrounding metal ring provides focused, warm light output. The original cream-coloured paintwork with visible signs of use highlights the authentic industrial character and gives the lamp a strong, honest patina. A timeless classic that works brilliantly in both modern interiors and industrial settings. Condition: Working properly with a beautiful age-related patina. Paint flaking, scratches and signs of use present, emphasising the industrial character.
