Characteristic garden table based on a design by Max Ernst Haefeli for Embru. The clear, functional design is exemplary of Swiss factual post-war design. The rectangular tabletop with rounded corners shows the typical metal finish with a continuous edge profile, while the sturdy steel tube frame gives a reduced, constructively honest appearance. The slightly flared feet with cross brace provide stability and underline the industrial character. A striking example of the functional Embru program for garden and terrace furniture from the 1950s, which can today be used both outdoors and indoors with a deliberately industrial accent. Condition: The charming green painted top has clear signs of use, paint chipping and age-related patina, making the yellow primer and rust spots visible in places. These authentic marks give the table a distinct vintage character and document its use outdoors. The steel tube frame also shows oxidation marks typical for its age, but it is stable and structurally solid.
