Rare version of the classic Flötotto school chair with integrated writing board. The design combines the ergonomically shaped seat shell typical of Flötotto, made from laminated plywood, with a robust steel tube frame and a work surface mounted on the side. The dark stained wooden shell shows the characteristic grain of the Pagholz material, which made Flötotto one of the most important manufacturers of school and contract furniture of the post-war period.

The asymmetrical construction with writing board gives the chair a distinctive functional character and makes it a sought-after collectible today in German industrial and school furniture design. Particularly appealing is the combination of a technically styled steel tube frame, a warm wood surface, and the clear, straightforward design language of the 1960s and 1970s.

Condition:
Good vintage condition with age-related signs of use. The wooden surfaces show light scratches, signs of wear, and a beautiful patina. The chrome-plated steel tube frame shows a few age-related signs of use. The construction is stable and fully functional.
