This coffee table from the 1970s impresses with its clear lines and combination of lightness and stability. The solid rectangular glass top, which has a diameter of 2 cm, rests on a geometrically constructed wooden base consisting of angularly profiled frame elements. Two runners positioned at right angles form the side supports and are connected by a wooden piece running along the longitudinal axis. The glass top rests on the wooden frame or on the recessed rubber buffers, providing additional stability while emphasising the transparency. The base is made of lightly stained solid beech wood. Condition: The table is in good condition. The glass top has only a few superficial signs of use and no visible chips along the edges. The wooden frame is stable and cleanly finished, with minimal signs of use on the corners. The entire construction appears solid and well maintained.
