The bowl features an organically curved, asymmetrical shape with widely raised sides and a strongly worked rim. Due to the varying thickness of the glass, the colour changes depending on the incidence of light from delicate lilac to deep aubergine and almost black-violet. The solid base area and the darker rim zones in particular create a very dimensional, sculptural impression.

The freely formed silhouette is typical of experimental art glass design from the second half of the 20th century and recalls Scandinavian and Italian mid-century glass objects.

Condition
Beautiful vintage condition with age- and use-related traces. More visible fine scratches are present on the underside of the base area.

Dimensions: L62 x W15 x H17 cm
  • Condition: Used - Good
