The slender, slightly waisted shape is characterised by an intense emerald to petrol green, becoming noticeably darker towards the foot. Particularly characteristic is the broad gold-coloured brocade decoration around the shoulder: the finely textured surface features a pronounced craquelé effect and is framed by narrow gold lines. The rim is also accented with a gold-coloured edge.

The combination of rich green, gold decoration and the elegant silhouette is typical of decorative German glass art from the post-war period and gives the vase an exceptionally luxurious Mid-Century look.

Condition
Very attractive vintage condition. The gold brocade decoration is exceptionally well preserved overall and displays its characteristic fine craquelé effect. The gold lines and the intense green colouring also appear well preserved. Minor age- and use-related marks may be present.
