Elegant vintage lidded box from the Edelstein Bavaria porcelain factory, featuring finely crafted red and gold decoration. The rounded box stands on a slightly recessed foot and is topped by a conically tapering lid with a decorative gold-coloured spiral knob.

Particularly characteristic is the surrounding geometric decoration of red and gold-coloured stripes, small dotted ornaments and fine curved lines. Gold border lines repeat the motif on the lid and the vessel, giving the piece an elegant, almost classical appearance.

The piece is probably from the middle of the 20th century. It is ideally suited as a bonbonniere, sugar bowl or decorative storage box and is also a beautiful collector’s item from the German post-war porcelain tradition.

Condition: good vintage condition appropriate to its age. Light signs of use and minor age-related marks on the gilding may be present.
