The slender, bottle-shaped form features a slightly rounded shoulder and a short, narrow neck with a subtly flared opening. Particularly characteristic is the continuous vertical ribbing, which structures the surface and creates intense reflections depending on the incidence of light.

The glaze displays an interesting sense of depth: on a lighter violet-lilac base, darker burgundy to aubergine-coloured areas run along the recesses. As a result, the vase appears almost metallic from different angles and takes on a very graphic expression.

Condition
Beautiful vintage condition with light age- and use-related signs.  The unglazed base ring has typical signs of use; there is also an older light residue or adhesive mark on the underside.
