Original vintage stool from the DS-50 series by de Sede, upholstered in warm cognac-brown leather. The reduced, sculptural construction with two fully leather-covered side sections and the softly padded seat cushion is typical of the high-quality Swiss upholstered furniture design of this era.

The stool has a clear, almost architectural form: two wide side elements support the slightly curved seat construction, topped by a generously padded leather cushion. The low black base elements make the furniture appear almost to float and create a beautiful contrast with the warm cognac tone.

The leather shows an attractive, naturally developed vintage patina with creasing, slight colour variations and fine signs of use. This ageing is precisely what gives the stool its authentic character and harmonises wonderfully with classic de Sede leather sofas and armchairs.

The stool is suitable both as a footrest and as additional seating, and its restrained form allows it to be combined in many ways.

Good used vintage condition with visible age-appropriate patina.

The leather has creases, light scratches and signs of use. The lower outer edges of the side sections show more pronounced abrasion and lightening marks. In places, the surface has become somewhat lighter due to many years of use.
