This stool impresses with its simple, functional construction and pronounced, authentic patina. The round seat is made of wood with a solid appearance and visibly lively grain. Scratches, pressure marks, discolouration and wear accumulated over decades give the surface a distinctive workshop character.

The frame consists of four bent tubular steel legs connected in the lower section by surrounding crossbars. This construction provides the typical industrial look and can also be used as a footrest. The former white paintwork shows clear age-related flaking; the dark metal is visible, particularly on the crossbars, joints and ends of the feet, and is superficially corroded in places.

The seat is screwed directly to the metal frame from underneath. Narrow floor protectors are fitted to the ends of the tubes.

Condition
Significant age- and use-related traces. The wooden surface shows numerous scratches, stains, areas of wear and small nicks. The metal frame has extensive paint loss, rust spots and a pronounced patina. The lower crossbars and foot areas in particular show clear corrosion and loss of paint. Overall, a very authentic vintage condition with a strong industrial character.
