This mushroom-shaped side table is a decorative mid-century piece strongly inspired by the organic and pop designs of the 1960s and 1970s.

The body is made of metal, bulging towards the bottom and finished with a white, slightly textured surface. The top forms a contrasting, high‑gloss panel in deep red, whose shape resembles a mushroom cap and which gains a plastic depth through its gradient from red to orange.

The design is sculptural yet functional – the table can be used as a side table next to a sofa or armchair, but it is also a standalone design object that dominates the space with its striking form and colouring. Stylistically, the table sits between Pop Art and Space Age; it connects to the playful furniture design of those years, as realised by various manufactories in Italy and Germany.

Condition: The table is generally in good condition. The top shows a uniform, strong colour effect, with only very small age‑appropriate surface scratches.
