Distinctive vintage HALO 250 floor lamp by Baltensweiler, Ebikon, in a high-quality brass finish. The lamp combines a highly minimalist, technically oriented construction with an exceptional, almost sculptural lamp head and is a fine example of Swiss lighting design from the second half of the 20th century.

The slender vertical rod stands on a flat, round base. The horizontal, cylindrical lamp head is attached to it, and its light can be directed precisely using several adjustable metal shades and slots. Depending on their position, the light is either more concentrated or softly diffused. The black spiral cable and the control mounted on the rod create a striking technical contrast with the warm brass tone.


Condition: 
The brass surfaces show a beautiful, authentic aged patina with light scratches, wipe marks and smaller areas of oxidation. The joints and moving elements also show age-related signs of use.
