Exceptional extendable dining table in the postmodern design of the 1980s. The combination of warm wood tones, polished chrome and the asymmetrically constructed column base gives the table a distinctive, architectural character.
When closed, the table has a compact round shape.
 
Thanks to its integrated extension system, it can be extended with just a few movements into a generously sized oval table. The additional tabletop is stored space-savingly inside and unfolds when the table is opened – a practical solution, as no separate extension leaf needs to be stored.

The base is particularly striking: a wide, semicircular wooden column is combined with several chromed round tubes and curved crossbars. Together with the round floor plate, this creates an exciting mix of geometric forms and materials that is highly characteristic of postmodern furniture design of the period.

Condition: 
The tabletop has a warm, honey-coloured wood surface with a softly rounded edge. The table is in good used vintage condition. The tabletop shows age- and use-related scratches, fine abrasions and minor signs of wear in the finish; these are particularly noticeable in backlight. The edges show occasional light knocks.
