The vase has an extraordinary, sculptural shape: a slender, elegantly upward-drawn neck rises from a heavy, drop-shaped thickened foot and divides into several organically shaped arms or petals. The individual ends are worked in different ways, giving the object a lively, almost floral silhouette.

The interplay of the rich red glass mass with the transparent and yellowish sections in the upper area is particularly beautiful. Depending on the incidence of light, intense colour gradients and reflections appear, typical of decorative art glass from the Mid-Century and Space Age eras.

Thanks to the substantial glass thickness and freely modelled form, the vase appears as an independent sculptural decorative object even without flowers.
