The Uni Standard table from Atelier ALINEA is an outstanding example of functional Swiss design. Designed by Ueli Biesenkamp, it combines an innovative lightweight construction with a clear, timeless visual language. The distinctive tabletop features an intelligently built sandwich structure with a corrugated aluminium core, providing exceptional stability while keeping the weight low. Delicate steel tube legs and the openly visible construction give the table its unmistakable, technically elegant appearance. Originally developed for the University of Bern, this model is now considered a design classic for living, dining and working spaces.

The light maple veneer top pairs perfectly with the silver-coloured steel frame and highlights the table’s high-quality, architectural character. Thanks to its generous dimensions, it comfortably seats six to eight people and is suitable both as a representative dining table and as a stylish conference or work table. Its long-lasting construction and the selection of high-quality materials make it a piece of furniture that lasts for generations.

Condition: Very good vintage condition with slight age-related signs of use. The tabletop is in well-kept condition, the frame is stable and functional.
