Exceptional vintage design chair Hello There, designed in 1978 by Jeremy Harvey for the Dutch furniture manufacturer Artifort. A distinctive collector’s piece combining the playful formal language of Pop Art with a striking industrial metal construction.

The special feature of this design is its typographic styling: the lettering Hello is integrated into the semi-circular backrest, while the seat is designed with the cut-out word There. Together, the two elements create a humorous greeting and make the chair an unmistakable design object from the late 1970s.

The open metal construction with its curved contours and four slender legs gives the chair a light, transparent appearance despite its sculptural look. The silver-grey metal surface emphasises its industrial character. The embossed Artifort signature is located on the underside of the seat and is clearly visible in the photos.

Condition: Authentic used vintage condition with clearly visible patina. The metal surface shows numerous dark oxidation spots, scratches, scuffing and age-related discolouration. These signs of use are particularly visible on the seat and backrest and give the chair its individual character.
