The Club 1195 floor lamp was designed by Pier Giuseppe Ramella for the Italian lighting manufacturer Arteluce. With its playful and geometric aesthetic, the design fits into the formal language of the 1980s and can be attributed to the postmodern style as well as Italian modernism. The adjustable floor lamp combines a minimalist appearance with functional design. It consists of red and black lacquered metal and is complemented by an oval glass element. Its tall, slender structure with a conical base and a round footplate is characteristic. The slim lamp stem leads to the glass element and clearly highlights the lamp’s reduced and geometric design. The combination of red and black lacquered metal, glass and the various geometric forms creates a design characteristic of the 1980s. At the same time, the conical base provides stability. Condition: The floor lamp is in good vintage condition with age- and usage-related signs of wear. The footplate has scratches and slight paint chips. The glass and lacquered surfaces also show normal signs of wear accumulated over the years.
