This exceptional vintage table lamp combines classic Art Deco influences with a particularly decorative, almost sculptural design language. The large, hemispherical shade made of white opal glass sits on an elegantly curved metal frame with a brass or chrome finish. A polished metal sphere hangs in the centre like a small pendulum, giving the lamp its distinctive character.

The interplay of the geometric frame, round glass dome and freely hanging spherical detail recalls designs from Viennese Modernism, Art Deco and later historicist design lamps.
