Decorative antique oil lamp with exceptionally detailed design. The solid, dark-patinated metal body is decorated with sculptural leaf and acanthus ornaments and supported by a figuratively rendered putto. The combination of the relief lamp reservoir, ornamental base and historic burner gives the piece a particularly imposing appearance.

The upper section features the classic construction of a paraffin lamp with burner, wick adjustment and openwork burner gallery. The dark patina that has developed over several decades is particularly appealing and beautifully highlights the fine relief details.

Condition: Vintage/antique condition appropriate to its age, with pronounced patina and signs of use. Deformations or signs of age are visible in the upper gallery area.
