Elegant Thalia chair, designed in 1965 by Annig Sarian for the Italian manufacturer Tisettanta, also known as T70. The design combines a very minimalist construction with a distinctive, almost graphic backrest and is one of the characteristic Italian seating designs of the late 1960s and 1970s.

Particularly striking is the dark-stained wooden frame with its raised, arched backrest. In the centre is a wide vertical wooden strut, which gives the chair its unmistakable silhouette. 

The seat is upholstered and covered in a warm cognac-brown fabric. The combination of dark wood and brown upholstery is very balanced and emphasises the design’s high-quality Mid-Century character.

Condition: Beautiful used vintage condition with age- and use-related signs of wear. The wood shows minor scratches, rubbing and localised wear, particularly on the legs and exposed edges.
