Simple old wooden stool from Switzerland, probably from the 1960s. An authentic utility object with a straight-lined construction and particularly beautiful patina developed over decades.

The stool is made entirely of brown solid wood. The square seat rests on four slightly splayed legs and a sturdy frame construction. Its reduced, functional design is reminiscent of classic workshop and work stools from this period.

Its strongly pronounced wear patina is particularly distinctive: the seat, legs and edges show numerous old paint and work marks, abrasions, scratches and other signs of use. These have been deliberately retained and give the piece its authentic, rustic character.

Today, the stool is suitable not only as a seat, but also excellently as a side table, plant stand or decorative standalone piece.
