An elegant, sculpturally shaped glass vase based on the renowned Flora design by Andries Dirk Copier, originally created in 1938 for Glasfabriek Leerdam. The vase is made of transparent, slightly smoky blue glass and has a softly rounded, bulbous shape with a narrow, recessed neck and a slightly flared rim. Particularly characteristic is the vertical, visually ribbed structure of the glass, which creates beautiful reflections and a sense of depth depending on the incidence of light. The form is both organic and rigorously designed, typical of modern Dutch glass design. Condition: overall in very attractive used condition. Minor age- or use-related marks may be present on the rim and surface. Measurements: diameter 23 x H23 cm
