These beautifully shaped stackable chairs stand out for their clear, Scandinavian-inspired design language and an pleasantly organic line. The seat shell is made from shaped beech wood with a high-quality lacquer finish and, thanks to its softly rounded silhouette, it appears particularly harmonious and inviting. The backrest and seat flow seamlessly into each other, offering surprisingly high seating comfort despite the reduced construction.
The delicate four-legged frame made of chrome-plated metal emphasizes the chairs’ light, modern character while also ensuring stability and everyday usability. Due to the slim construction, the chairs can be stacked effortlessly—ideal for flexible use in dining areas, cafés, or even in contract settings. The combination of a black wooden shell and glossy steel gives the design a timeless, almost graphic presence.
The model was designed by Danish designer Inge Hyrup and is a representative example of functional design with a clear formal language and long-lasting quality.
