Characterful stackable chairs with a clear, functional design language. The combination of shaped seat and backrest surfaces and the slender steel-tube frame refers to the straightforward design of the post-war period. In particular, the slightly curved lines of the backrest and the elegantly curved rear legs give the chairs remarkable lightness despite their industrial origins. The chairs are stackable and were originally often used in schools, municipal halls, cafeterias, or public institutions. Today they work as authentic vintage seating in modern living spaces, lofts, studios, or hospitality venues. The visible patina on the seat surfaces and age-related signs of use highlight their original character and tell the story of their long-term use. The shape is reminiscent of designs from various European manufacturers from the 1950s and 1960s, including models by Embru, Pagholz, or other manufacturers of contract furniture from that period. Based on the photos, however, an unambiguous attribution is not possible. For accurate identification, manufacturer stamps or labels on the underside would be helpful. Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related signs of use, patina, scratches, and signs of wear on the seat surfaces and frames. Stable and fully functional.
