Elegant and functional design classic from Dietiker’s Swiss furniture production. The Quadro model was designed by Bruno Rey in collaboration with Charles Polin and exemplifies the clear, constructive design language of the 1970s. The chairs combine precise geometric detailing with excellent everyday usability and durable workmanship. The frame is made of solid beechwood, stained in a warm reddish-brown tone. The angular, architectural construction gives the chair a very crisp line. The seat and backrest are upholstered in black leather, providing high seating comfort. A characteristic feature of this model is the visible connection between the backrest and the seat: the backrest is attached to the seat structure via four curved metal brackets—an eye-catching technical detail that gives the design a light, almost floating effect. The chairs are stackable, making them suitable for both private dining areas and commercial spaces such as conference rooms or restaurants. The combination of high-quality leather, solid wood, and precise construction is typical of the long-lasting quality of Dietiker production in Switzerland.

Condition: Good vintage condition with age-appropriate signs of use. The leather shows slight creases as well as a few minor signs of wear. On the wooden frame, there are small dents in places and scuffing on the edges. The construction is stable and fully functional.
