Classic German design chairs from the 1970s, attributed to Elmar Flötotto, with distinctively shaped Pagholz seat shells and chrome-plated sled bases. The one-piece moulded seat and back shell has the organic silhouette typical of these models, with a narrow waist, broad back section and slightly forward-projecting seat. The warm olive to walnut-brown wood colour clearly reveals the natural grain and creates a beautiful contrast with the chrome-plated tubular steel base. The excellent stackability is particularly practical: when stacked, the sled bases fit into one another in a space-saving manner. Pagholz is a wood material compressed under high pressure, used especially for heavily used seating furniture. The thin, ergonomically shaped shell combines a lightweight appearance with high stability, making these chairs typical representatives of functional post-war German design. Condition Good used vintage condition with age- and use-related patina. The wood surfaces show light scratches, pressure marks, colour differences and occasional small signs of use. The chrome-plated frames show superficial marks and slight discolouration in places. Dimensions: L49 x W42 x H79 cm Seat height 45 cm
