Characterful chairs by the manufacturer WeSifa (Wesifa GmbH), produced in Vlotho-Uffeln, West Germany, in the 1970s. The models are exemplary of the expressive design language of the Space Age and Pop Art era, combining functionality with a striking, colour-intensive design. The ergonomically shaped seat shells are made from bright orange plastic (ABS) and impress with their clear, reduced line design. The delicate frame made from chrome-plated steel tubing provides an elegant, technical contrast and at the same time ensures stability and everyday usability. Typical of these models is their stackability, allowing them to be stored in a space-saving way. In addition, the chairs have side connections for forming rows – a functional detail that underscores their origins in the object and event context. Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related signs of wear. Minor scratches and scuffing on the plastic seat shells as well as smaller signs of use on the chrome frame. Sturdy and ready to use right away.
