Classic Freischwinger chairs from West German production by Thur-Op-Seat, made with a bent steel tube frame and a dark-stained pagholz seat shell. The organically shaped seat surface with a slightly flexible backrest provides high seating comfort, while the chrome cantilever base conveys the typical Bauhaus-inspired lightness. The chairs are stackable, making them ideal for flexible living or commercial areas. Particularly characteristic is the resilient pagholz— a highly densified wood material known for its robustness and longevity and frequently used in the contract market. A timeless design between functional Mid-Century design and industrial aesthetics—versatile to combine, both in a private dining area and in a studio or office.

Condition: Good vintage condition with age-appropriate signs of use, slight patina, and abrasion on the edges of the seat shells, as well as minor signs of use on the chrome frame; overall a beautiful, authentic condition.
