4 iconic Panton chairs by Vitra, designed in 1959 by Danish designer Verner Panton. The Panton Chair is one of the best-known design classics of the 20th century. Its flowing S-shape is characteristic, with the backrest, seat and base merging seamlessly into one another. This gives the chair its distinctive sculptural appearance. Verner Panton developed the design together with Vitra until it was ready for series production. The Panton Chair made design history as the first cantilever chair manufactured from a single piece of plastic. Its slightly flexible construction combines its distinctive form with comfortable seating. The chair is made of through-coloured polypropylene. The white version emphasises the clear, organic lines and can be combined in many ways. The embossed signature of Verner Panton is located on the underside. A timeless design classic and an icon of modern furniture design. Condition: Good used condition with age-related signs. There are occasional light scratches and surface marks.
