Striking Danish dining chairs by INGABO, crafted in warm solid wood with fully upholstered seats and high, distinctly rounded backrests.

The chairs combine typically Scandinavian solid-wood craftsmanship with the softer, more decorative design language of the 1990s.

The high, slender backrests are particularly striking. The upholstered backrest ends at the top in a large curve and is framed on the sides by two sturdy wooden uprights extending far upwards.

This creates an unusual, almost architectural silhouette that appears significantly more distinctive than that of classic Scandinavian dining chairs from the 1960s.

The generously upholstered seat is softly rounded at the front and, together with the high back upholstery, forms a comfort-oriented counterpoint to the straight-lined wooden frame.

Condition:
The chairs are overall in a beautiful used vintage condition.

The wooden frames show age- and use-related signs of wear such as minor scratches, pressure marks and isolated abrasion. The natural grain and knot patterns of the wood are clearly visible and give each chair slight individual differences.
