Rare foldable children’s chairs, Trieste model, designed by Aldo Jacober in the 1960s. The reduced designs of the Italian designer are today among the best-known examples of functionalist Italian post-war design. Made from lacquered wood, the chairs win over with their clear geometric language of form and the distinctive folding mechanism. The narrow slat construction of the seat and the elegantly inward-curved sides give the chairs an almost graphic effect. The visible patina of the lacquer is particularly beautiful, giving the objects an authentic, almost Mediterranean vintage character. Condition: Used vintage condition with clear age-related signs of wear, chipping and patina on the lacquer. The chairs are stable and fully functional.
