Functional vintage stacking chair with clear, understated lines, probably dating from the 1970s. The combination of warm plywood and a slim tubular steel frame gives the chair the sober character typical of contract and multipurpose furniture from this period. The seat and backrest are made of moulded plywood with rounded edges and a warm wood surface. The slight curvature of the seat and the curved backrest provide a pleasantly ergonomic shape despite the simple construction. The grey tubular steel frame is designed to be particularly functional. The chairs can be stacked inside one another to save space. In addition, the frame design also allows alternating stacking, with the chairs being combined offset from one another or upside down. Condition: Good authentic vintage condition with age-related signs of wear. The wooden surfaces show scratches, minor pressure marks, abrasion and areas with differences in the surface. The metal frames also show scratches, abrasion and age-appropriate patina. Dimensions: L45 × W39 × H81 cm Seat height: 45 cm
