Very attractive original vintage bedside tables in the Mid-Century style, dating from the 1960s. The furniture stands out with its unusual construction, warm wooden surface and striking contrast between the light-coloured body and the dark contrasting details.

The two curved, dark-stained handle rails on the front are particularly characteristic. They echo the dark, slightly splayed conical legs and give the bedside tables a distinctly elegant, graphic appearance. The raised side panels frame the storage surface and emphasise the typical design language of post-war modernism.

The apparent two-drawer design conceals an interesting functional solution: a pull-out drawer is located at the top, with a generous storage compartment underneath featuring a flap that opens downwards. The flap is guided or held at the sides by metal fittings and, when open, can also serve as a practical storage surface.

Condition: 
The two pieces of furniture are in beautiful, authentic vintage condition. They show age-appropriate signs of use, minor scratches and surface marks, as well as a natural patina.
