Characterful pair of vintage wall lamps from the 1970s, featuring a successful combination of heavily textured clear glass, chrome-plated metal and warm-toned wood.

Particularly striking are the heavy cylindrical pressed-glass shades with geometric relief texture. The grid-like, pyramid-shaped pattern breaks up the light and creates a lively, warm play of light when switched on. The solid glass shades are held by chrome-plated metal fittings.

The construction is distinctly geometric: an angular metal arm connects the lamp head to a rectangular wooden wall plate. A chrome-plated metal trim and the small cream-coloured toggle switch directly on each lamp complete the characteristic design of the period.

Condition:
Good, authentic vintage condition with age-related signs of use. The chrome-plated metal parts show patina, fine scratches and, in places, traces of oxidation. The wooden plates show slight signs of use.
