This characterful, long wooden bench in the traditional church pew and farmhouse style combines a simple, functional construction with decorative handcrafted details. The warm honey-brown wood, curved side panels and backrest extending along the entire length give it a particularly authentic, rustic appearance.

The bench is made of solid wood, probably softwood such as pine or spruce. The natural grain and visible knots emphasise its original character. The side ends with their softly curved contours and the round, volute-like decorations on the armrests are particularly beautiful.

The backrest consists of two wide, horizontally running wooden boards. An additional central support structurally divides the long bench into two sections and, together with the continuous lower braces, ensures a solid construction.

Condition:
Vintage condition consistent with age and use, with pronounced, authentic patina. The wooden surfaces show numerous scratches, pressure marks, abrasions, small discolourations and worn paint in places. There is a clearly visible chip on the front edge of the seat, revealing the lighter wood underneath. Signs of use are also visible on the edges, backrest boards and feet.
