Elegant BERNHARD dining chairs from IKEA, designed by Swedish designer Ola Wihlborg. The model combines a slightly curved seat shell fully upholstered in black leather with a delicate chromed steel base. 

The clear silhouette is largely defined by the continuous seat and backrest shape. The shell rises from the seat in a flowing curve to the high backrest and is padded all around and upholstered in black leather. A vertical seam on the back and the neatly finished edges underline the minimalist design.

The slim, chromed steel frame creates a beautiful contrast with the dark leather. The side bars are made from a continuously curved metal rod and form wide runners on the floor. Thanks to this construction, the chair offers slight flexibility when sitting – a comfort feature that IKEA also highlights in the original product description of the BERNHARD. 

Condition:
Good used condition with signs of wear due to age and use. The black leather shows light creases, pressure and rubbing marks as well as occasional minor scratches or superficial marks. The chromed steel frames also show light signs of use.
