The object in the picture is a vintage wall wardrobe called Sputnik (also known as the Mina model), which was sold by IKEA in the 1980s and 1990s. The design in the so-called Space Age style is often attributed to the Italian designer Osvaldo Borsani or is inspired by his designs from the 1960s. Product details Material: The wardrobe consists of a solid metal bracket and a head made of black lacquered wood with eight arms of different lengths, each with wooden balls at the ends. Function: The head with the hooks is rotatable, making it easier to access the hanging garments. Measurements: The depth or length is about 35 to 39 cm. Space Age / Mid Century A truly rare design piece with slight lacquer chipping (see pictures)
