A highly sought-after early Deltarem, manufactured in Jena in the late 1930s.

The Deltarem is renowned for its exceptional, extremely wide field of view of 198 m at 1000 m (approx. 11.3°); it is therefore considered one of the most remarkable wide-angle binocular models of its time. It is distinguished by Carl Zeiss Jena’s characteristic optical and mechanical construction with central focusing.

This particular example has been professionally cleaned and serviced. The central focusing mechanism was cleaned and regreased and now operates smoothly and precisely. The optical surfaces were also cleaned.

The optics provide a clear and sharp image. Only minimal age-related traces are visible on the lenses; there is no significant clouding or fungus.
