Striking vintage light column made in Belgium, attributed to the Deknudt manufactory, fully clad in clear mirror on all four faces. Its very pure geometric form plays with the reflections and seems to almost disappear in space, while the upper opaline tray diffuses a warm, soft light. Halfway between a light fixture, a pedestal and a presentation stand, it helps showcase a ceramic, a vase, a sculpture or a decorative object. It can also be used on its own to light up a corner of the room and create a particularly successful atmosphere. The mirror panels are assembled in a fine metal structure with a brass finish. The lighting system is integrated inside the column and operated by a foot switch placed on the electrical cable. The original label is preserved under the base. It bears the mention “Made in Belgium”, the model number 701.31 as well as the reference and control indications typical of earlier Deknudt productions. Excellent vintage condition. All four mirror surfaces are perfectly preserved, with no scratches, chips or cracks. Only slight wear of the brass plating is visible in places on the thin edges. No other defects to report. The light and the switch work perfectly. Estimated date: late 1970s – early 1980s. Dimensions: height 90 cm, width 30 cm, depth 30 cm.
